Harbro Auto Sales got its rather unconventional start as a gas station and repair facility in Linwood, Massachusetts— right as the OPEC oil embargo was taking place in 1973. As a gas station unable to purchase gasoline to serve his customers, Tim Hare, convinced his new bride to allow him to sell her recently paid-off car and use the profit to purchase other used vehicles he could repair and sell. We've been a family-owned and operated used car dealership ever since, 47 years later.
Despite our humble beginnings, we've grown up in this business and consider ourselves experts in the automotive industry.
