Not all used cars are created equal.

in fact, most car shoppers don't realize that there is  a significant difference between a typical "used" car and a "certified pre-owned" one. 

To simplify matters: for a used vehicle to be considered certified, it has to go through an extensive mechanical and safety checklist, with all necessary repairs completed, and then warrantied for an additional period of time.

So, what does a certification process look like at harbro?

First of all, every vehicle at harbro auto sales comes certified by us.
We don't have a "well, if you want it certified that's an additional $2,000" policy like a lot of other dealers. Certification is included.

It starts with the search.

Our inventory specialists spend hours looking at vehicles to make sure they are buying the right one.

They look at the vehicle's history.
They look for significant cosmetic imperfections.
They look for any reason that the vehicle may not pass our very high standards.

Then, for every 200 vehicles they look at, they buy one.

Followed by 181-points of checklist fun.

Once the newly purchased vehicle arrives on our lot, our ASE-certified technicians take the vehicle through an extensive checklist process.

They'll answer questions such as:

 Does this vehicle need new tires? Check.
Does this vehicle need new brakes? Check.
Does the seatbelt work in the third-row? Check.

Bottom-line: we are thorough, so that you can have peace-of-mind that your new vehicle is safe for you and your loved ones.

Then we do the work.

If our technicians indicate that the vehicle needs new tires, we put on new tires from brands such as Cooper, Falken, Goodyear, Michelin and more. 

Needs brakes? then it gets brakes and rotors. 

If it needs the work, we do the work.
In fact, we spend on average nearly $1,800 per vehicle to certify it to our standards.

Finally, it's time for the close-up.

Once the vehicle is given the green light, it is then given to our reconditioning & detail department to give it that showroom shine.

Then photos are taken, uploaded, and made public on our website.
