Excellent Fuel Economy (especially with SFE package): With an EPA estimated 26 MPG city / 37 MPG highway (automatic) and the optional Super Fuel Economy (SFE) package pushing it to 28 MPG city / 40 MPG highway, it was a very economical choice for daily commuting.
Stylish and Modern Interior: The Focus's interior design was considered upscale for its class, with a modern layout and good use of soft-touch materials in key areas. It felt more refined than many competitors.
Available SYNC Infotainment System: While MyFord Touch received mixed reviews for its initial finickiness, the SYNC system offered voice commands, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and music streaming, and a USB port, providing a good level of technology for the time.
Hatchback Versatility: The five-door hatchback model offered significantly more cargo space (23.8 cubic feet, expanding to 44.8 with seats folded) than the sedan, making it a practical choice for those needing more utility.
